The Rocky Top Alien Breeding Experiment (Terlingua, TX)
Emerging up from the various saloons and caves of Terlingua, Texas, Rocky Top busted down the doors of the traditional instrumental music scene in spring of 2010.
A (mostly) instrumental trio comprised of Pablo Menudo on Mandolin, Jim Keaveny (Good Ol Jim) on guitar, harmonica and percussion, Anna Oakley on fiddle, and Neil Trammel (of Doodlin' Hogwallops fame) on bass if they're lucky..They play foot-stomping, high energy renditions of Irish, Celtic, and American Fiddle and Folk Music.
With standout tunes such as “June Apple,” and “Rock the Cradle Joe” don’t be surprised if you find Rocky Top at the top of the traditional alien honky-tonk charts and beyond. www.facebook.com

By combining alternative country influences with a dash of folk, americana and jazz, Dusty Low has created a sound that is at once familiar yet surprisingly fresh. Sam, Jesse and Danny Sullivan, after touring for many years, have forged a new direction that incorporates all of their collective influences. With the addition of Anthony Movsesian whose main influence is jazz, the group is constantly cultivating agile and well crafted compositions that easily cross back and forth between many of the cherished American music forms. Add to this, superb harmonies and the result is truly exceptional.

Trevor Reichman (Terlingua, TX)
After residing in various and distinct music communities around the planet from Johannesburg, South Africa, to Austin, Texas, and Portland, Oregon, I now live in Far West Texas, by Big Bend National Park, where I position myself for most of the year. During the summer, when temperatures can get close to 120 degrees, I am persuaded to migrate with my music. I have a catalog of well over 100 keepers, but only a tiny percentage has been recorded, which is the impetus for building an off-grid hand built studio in the middle of the desert. It is part of the mission to do this without incurring any financial or ecological debt.

Zoltan Orkestar has been filling Albuquerque dance floors for more then four years, with their brand of high energy circus swing, and a quick dash of country twang you’ll be on the dancefloor before you know what hit you. Comprised of Top notch musical talent the group is composed of Glynda Szekely on Vocals, who comes all the way from Michigan to share her legendary voice, she is affectionately known as “the hummingbird of the gods”. Zoltan Szekely plays fiery guitar. Zoltan has an impressive musical resume, including a stint in The New York Musical “Chutzpah” as well as touring Romania with Al Dimeola’s Drummer Csaba Cserey. On Accordion is John Keith, who often appears on Stages across the nation with Greats like Eric Mcfadden as well as the Polkettes. Upright bass is handled by Michael Grimes a regular in Albuquerque Jazz clubs, he has played with many greats including Bernadette Seacrest.
